What's wrong in this simple Linq subQuery ?

Please, I don't understand why the following Linq query doesn't work:

var queryA = from PX in UnitOfWorkHolder.Current.PrixGranulats
             where (PX.Periode == UnitOfWorkHolder.Current.PrixGranulats.Where(PX2 => PX2.GranulatId == PX.GranulatId).Min(PX2 => PX2.Periode))
             select PX;
Object result = queryA.ToList<PrixGranulat>();

Indeed, an exception says: The method 'Where' is not supported. Any idea? Thanks in advance. Jonathan.

Yes, we believe this is a LightSpeed limitation. Unfortunately, we're not aware of a pure server-side workaround at this point; depending on the size of the data, your best bet may be to do some processing client-side or to write the query directly in SQL and use a stored procedure or the IUnitOfWork.FindBySql method. We will investigate a fix but can't give you a timescale right now -- sorry for the inconvenience!
