Today I finally had some time over at work and my thought was to spend it in evaluating LightSpeed (Express). But I quickly ran into two problems. I managed to fix one of them but now I'm stuck. I'm running Visual Studio 2008. Problem 1 - fixed My toolbox had only the "Entity" value. Re-installed Lightspeed, now I had none. Problem 2 In my designer when I right click the the entity, my ContextMenu -> Add is empty, so I can't add properties. I've re-installed and even tried the NightlyBuild (LightSpeedExpress-20100121) without results, my context menu is still empty. Thanks in advance |

The "empty add menu" does happen sometimes when you're clicking on the title area of an entity. (We don't know why it mostly works and sometimes doesn't; we think it's a Visual Studio issue.) The workaround is to click on the small blue bar at the bottom of the entity. See attached screenshot. I realise this is a small target, but once you've got a property displayed, you can also right-click in the properties area so it's only the first property that's a bit inconvenient!
