We want to store serialized data in BLOB field (field name: SQLText). No problem wiht MySQL, but MSSQL it's truncated to 8000 byte, when inserting.
Is this is MSSQL-, NHibernate, or mapping problem (or any other?? :D )? Thanks Your help!

Yes, you can do this by creating a User Mapped Type that specifies the BinaryBlob mapping type. To do this:
I've attached a screenshot showing how to set up the user mapped type.
It sounds like we should probably do this automatically for Blob properties but for the time being this should see you right.
(N.B. this does not generate the column.sql-type attribute but from our testing this does not appear to be necessary -- only the property.type attribute is required.)
