Hello again, how is the easiest way to create an index (or run a sql statement) in a migration? e.g. the ollowing one: USE [MyDB]
Thats my migration's up(): public override void Up() // what to code here in order to create an userdefined index // // } Thanks for your always best support Markus
PS: i am currently using LightSpeed30Professional-20100128.msi |

We don't have an API for creating indexes, but recent nightly builds do include an ExecuteNativeCommand that you can use to run raw DDL: this.ExecuteNativeCommand("CREATE NONCLUSTERED INDEX..."); This was added after your nightly so you will need to upgrade to get it. |

Hi Ivan, thanks a lot. I use now ExecuteNativeCommand and it helps me. Bye Markus |
