In my model, I use LS3's Refactor to Create Partial Class. If the partial class already exist, LS3 Designer will throw an exception (I have a screenshot, but you don't have an upload function...) 1) LS3 Designer should handle this scenario gracefully and offer the option to either cancel or overwrite. 2) It would be VERY handy to have a way to tell LS3 to create partial class for all entities - ideally, I should be able to easily select all or some entities and then right click to create partial classes. |

The upload function is on the Options tab (thank you, whoever designed the Community Server forums UI). If you could provide us with that screenshot then that would be great. Thanks for reporting this issue and for the feature suggestion! |

Thanks Ivan, here's the screenshot of the thrown exception. |

Thanks. I have implemented a kinda-fix for this (it will now show a meaningful error rather than a stack trace, but it won't offer the overwrite option). I have also implemented model-level Create Partial Classes as requested. (One caveat on this: if it sees a file in the target folder with the same name as an entity, it will skip that entity -- it will not check whether the file actually contains the right partial class.) Both of these will be in the 7 April nightly build. |
