I am using LightSpeed 4.0 and Visual Studio 2010. In the debugger when I click on the magnifying glass to invoke the LightSpeed Debugger Visualizer, I get an error dialog. I've attached screenshot of the error dialog. What is causing this error and how might it be corrected? Thanks |

Unfortunately the debugger visualiser is only available for VS2008; previously no customers had expressed an interest in using it in VS2010. We will take a look at this for LightSpeed 5 as there are some technical changes required to get it working on VS2010. In the meantime, you can view the SQL (which is all the debugger visualiser shows you) by using the LightSpeedContext.Logger, or interactively by running
in the VS2010 Immediate window. |

This isn't a direct answer to your question, but in the previous post on this thread, I was told that: "In the meantime, you can view the SQL (which is all the debugger visualiser shows you) by using the LightSpeedContext.Logger, or interactively by running ? myQuery.BuildSql(false) in the VS2010 Immediate window." Just want to let you know when I tried that suggestion I got the following error: myQuery.BuildSql(false) "No unit of work is currently associated with this Query. To use the Debugger Visualizer pass this query object to one of the IUnitOfWork.Find methods." I think the Find method will actually try to execute the query versus just showing the Sql comprising it... Wondering if Ivan has any additional thoughts? Was there something more I needed to enter? |
