I just installed the latest nightly build for Jun17 Lightspeed, and in VS 2010 now my context menu when I right-click in a model shows duplicate entries (4 copies for each!) for every menu option. For example, right clicking the model surface I see this: Arrange ... you get the idea. I am about to uninstall and reinstall to see if this fixed the issue. If you have any suggestions let me know. |

That certainly looks like something didn't uninstall correctly. If the problem persists try running devenv /setup after uninstalling but before reinstalling (see the Troubleshooting sticky thread for info about opening a VS command prompt). |

I followed these steps (uninstalled LightSpeed, ran the devenv /setup using VS2010 command prompt as admin, installed nightly build), and when adding a new model, I see "Lightspeed Model" under Project > Add New Item menu (adding new item to a project) in VS2010 twice. Also the menu duplication is still there as before. Another issue (unknown if it's related): when I add a new LightSpeed model using VS2010, it does not generate the corresponding .cs file, I only get the .lsmodel and .diagram files. It works in VS2008 so that is my workaround for the moment, but it may be a bug.

More detail on the issue of the lsmodel .cs file disappearing, repro steps for existing models: Create a LightSpeed model in VS 2008. Add some tables, including a stored procedure query. Open the same model in VS 2010. Modify the procedure query response entity by adding a property. Save. The .cs file disappears from the project and file system.

Did you ever have installed the standalone preview of VS2010 designer integration? Check in Control Panel under "LightSpeed Designer for Visual Studio 2010" (note NOT with "Mindscape" in front of the name). If that is present then please try uninstalling both it and LightSpeed and then reinstalling LightSpeed. |

Thank you, that seems to have fixed the problems. Context menu problem is solved, duplicate item in Add New Item menu is gone. Thanks also for the fast response. It also looks like this fixes the disappearing .cs file issue. |
