I'm pushing some entities out through WCF - using the entity.AsDto() stuff. All good except I'm getting quite a few methods like this: public Entity GetEntityById(id){ Entity entity = _repository.GetEntityById(id); return entity != null ? entity.AsDto() : null; }
Is there any reason this null check couldn't be in the AsDto generated method? Normally I would always except to see this sort of thing anyway - check the incoming object reference for null before invoking properties on it... :) It would be great if this could be pushed into the next version of those templates... cheers justin |
