There seems to be no way to manually adjust the height of the table objects in the Lightspeed editor, but it does allow adjustment of the width. it would be nice to have this functionality because a table in one of my models has MANY tables referencing it, and the associations are packed so tightly together that their names cannot be read. |

Thanks for this suggestion. Unfortunately, there are some usability and implementation issues with allowing vertical resizing by default. So I've implemented your suggestion, *BUT* in a slightly hidden way. To resize an entity shape vertically: * Select the entity shape Once you have used the Ctrl-bottom handle trick to make a shape bigger, it will remember that it has been manually sized, and will display top and bottom resize handles whenever it's selected (you won't need to use the Ctrl key again). Note that once you've put a shape into "manual sizing" mode its size becomes your responsibility -- for example when you delete a property it's won't automatically shrink to reflect this. This feature will be available in nightly builds dated 23 June 2010 and above, available from about 1500 GMT. |

It's nice to see that the response is so quick from you guys. I'll have to download the new build and give it a try. |

What about doing something like "Hold down Ctrl and double click on the handle" to reset the entity back to it's normal auto size state. |

I've logged a feature request for a nice UI for reverting an entity to autosize, but since this is a pretty obscure feature, I'm not sure when we'll be able to deliver it. However, you can do it using the following cheat code: * Close the .lsmodel in Visual Studio. |
