Hi I'm trying to add connections to a diagram using the FlowDiagram example from LayoutAlgorithmExplorer - so I'm using the CustomConnection from that. My nodes and connections are coming from a database - there is no user interaction to create the diagram. My viewmodel has the following:
The CustomConnection constructor - or more correctly, it's base constructor - is giving me this error on the 1st step node. Do I need to add the connections in a specific pattern / order? Ta |

Hello Jonesie This exception will be raised due to the connection point logic built into flow diagrams. For example, flow diagrams only allow step nodes to have one outbound connection. Your model is probably trying to create a step node with multiple out going connections. I would recommend using ShapeNode instead of StepNode. ShapeNode comes from our generic diagram type which has no rules. Let me know if you need more info. Jason Fauchelle |
