Fresh install - oh no! What's that about? |

Oh no indeed! Cant say we have seen this before unfortunately :) If you run up "Help, About Visual Studio" do you see the LightSpeed Designer for Visual Studio 2010 listed once or twice?

It's only listed once. |

Thanks for the extra info George, I will pass this along to Ivan to have a look at, he is currently up at TechEd but will be back on deck tomorrow so all going well he should be able to provide an update on this for you then.

Hello George, That is very weird -- we've never seen this and haven't been able to reproduce it I'm afraid, so what I would suggest is: * Uninstall LightSpeed (and check in Control Panel that there isn't another installation lurking around). * Open a Visual Studio command prompt (see here if you're not sure how to do this) and run devenv /setup * Open Visual Studio and check that LightSpeed Model no longer appears in the Add New Item list. Close Visual Studio. * Check in %AppData%\Local\Microsoft\VisualStudio\10.0\Extensions that there are no Mindscape entries in there (unless you are using other add-ins such as the PostgreSQL plug-in or SimpleDB Management Tools) * Reinstall LightSpeed If you still see the problem then let us know. |

Right - fixed. Between deleting most of what I found via searching C:\ for Lightspeed and uninstalling both the Designer tools AND the core product, I guess something did it. It was most likely a remainder from when I installed the initial vs2010 builds, and I probably messed with template locations or something. |
