Hi, I'm seeing a number of NullRef exceptions when trying to use aggregates. It seems to happen in CTI relationships on a 1-Many relationship (either collection or backreference) originating from a base type (i.e. non-inherited). At the same time, aggregates from one from the inherited types are correctly eager loaded. Note this happens either when specifying a named aggregate, or setting 'Eager Load' to true. I have multiple model files, but these queries are all inside one file (and whether the entity is linked or not doesn't seem to affect it). (Using nightly from 15/6/2012)

Hi Mark, Can you send through a small repro project to allow us to look into what is causing this please.

Hi Jeremy, Took me forever to isolate what was causing this, which as usual turned out to be simple. Looks like this happens when entities being referenced have Soft Delete turned on and are involved inside the query criteria. It seemed to happen with entities not part of the filter, but that might have been my imagination. Attached is a repro. Mark |

Thanks Mark, I have added a fix for this which will be available in the next nightly build for you.
