There are a few "automatic" ways to get StyleCop to ignore files 1. Change the extension to .designer.cs 2. Have the file start with <auto-generated /> in the Stylecop-confirm file header 3. Wrap the code in #region that includes the words "generated code" Are there any ways to get the .cs file generated from the .lsmodel to follow one of these rules? There is always <ExcludeFromStyleCop>true</ExcludeFromStyleCop> but that requires manually editing the .csproj files |

We emit the GeneratedCodeAttribute on the generated classes. If StyleCop doesn't respect that, then you can always edit the templates to add the required file header or region declaration. See http://www.mindscape.co.nz/blog/index.php/2009/09/16/customising-lightspeed-entity-templates/ for info on how to do this. |
