LightSpeedException Check your table has an Id column and that your mappings are correct

I'm currently using Lightspeed and I'm getting this:

LightSpeedException: Unable to materialize field [Active] on type [iMed.Device]
Check your table has an Id column and that your mappings are correct

I've verified that the id does exist in the device table, its an int and it is a PRIMARY key. 

I've looked at the generated code in iMed.Designer.cs ant it doesn't look like its generating a 
mapped value for id within that table. I've also looked at the designe iMed.model and all the entities it 
generates there isn't any id's associated with them. 

The code that is being used is as follows , the error is occuring when I call :
d = uow.Devices.FirstOrDefault(d_ => d_.Identifier == "TEST");
And the varchar Identifier column value does exist.

I think I answered my own question, after looking at the error message again:

LightSpeedException: Unable to materialize field [Active]

Active being a tinyint in the device table, reading some posts I discovered there might be a problem with 

this datatype, I change it to a regular int, updated the schema in Visual Studio, reran the test and 
it worked...
