Hi Jason, I have a problem when using smart scrolling. I have attached a video and an image that describe my problem, again - creating a reproduction project is a hassle for us so I hope the video and the image will give you enough information to understand the root cause of the problem, if this won't be enough we will create a reproduction project. Our application has a side bar explorer that allow users to explore different items, in the video the side bar is empty since the information is classified and cannot be shared, but the problem can be seen clearly even without the side bar explorer having items. Also see the image. So i have smart scrolling enabled and i drag a connection from a node that is in the viewport to a node that is outside of the viewport. When the source node goes out of the viewport the connection is somehow being drawn outside the bounds of the entire diagram. The video shows it very clearly and the image explains where the side bar is and demonstrates how the connection line crosses the boundaries of the diagram surface. Can you please help with this? Thanx, Gili |

Hi Gili, A fix for this will be available in the next nightly build. This fix involved updating a style used by the DiagramSurface control, so if this issue does not seem to be fixed when you install the next nightly, let me know as you may have a custom style overriding it. -Jason Fauchelle |

I have a custom style, I need to change the color of the connection when it is being dragged. Can you tell me how to do it without causing this to happen? (After I install the new version) |

Hi Gili, You'll only have an issue if you've got a custom style for the DiagramScrollViewer control. If this is the case, the fix would be to wrap the DiagramScrollContentPresenter within an AdornerDecorator with the ClipToBounds property set to true. If you don't have a custom DigramScrollViewer style, the next nightly build will fix this issue up for you. Hope that clarifies it. -Jason Fauchelle |
