Hi,
We have a database not running on the standard port 5432. I can't find a way to enter the port number in the connection string dialog. Ihave tried various option ( using server:port ;Port=nnnn, ...) but none seems to work. What's the trick to get it working? BTW test connection always says OK no matter what I put in the fields...

Grab the updated provider from: http://www.mindscapehq.com/forums/Post.aspx?ThreadID=1910&PostID=12870 This has a Port option (which can be left blank for default). You're right, Test Connection isn't implemented. This is a very minimal, "no frills" provider -- it does just enough to enable dragging onto the LightSpeed and NHibernate designers and no more! |
