Hello, I've noticed a strange behavior in the following scenario. I'm using .NET 4, the latest version of Lightspeed and VistaDB 4.1 I've created a table with a one to many relationship to display a tree in a Devexpress XtraTree control (I have a ParentId field and a GlossaryId field). The things I noticed is that if the relationship is present in Lightspeed (so that I'm mapping the relationship between the Glossary and its parent), a selection changed event is fired everytime I modify my object. This doesn't happen if the relationship in the Lightspeed design pane is removed. Why is that? Hope I was clear in the explanation. Thanks |

I'm not sure what would cause the DexExpress control to raise a SelectionChanged event. We do raise PropertyChanged and ListChanged events when a collection is modified so maybe the control is refreshing the list and that causes SelectionChanged? |
