Hey Guys,
I have been having trouble with outer joins, here is my problem: Entity A has a relationship to entity B but when I doa left outer Join on table A and B the SQL will do an inner join then apply the left outer join. Is there some way i can define the relationship in the model to always do a left outer join rather than a inner join? Josh |

Hi Josh, You control what type of join is specified when you add that to the query (e.g. Join.Inner vs Join.Outer, or if you are using LINQ by not using into and .DefaultIfEmpty() with the join). Could you elaborate a bit on your model and the code you are using to better highlight what you are looking to achieve?
