Hi! I've been using LightSpeed for a few weeks now, and on the whole it's been a great experience... But today, I'm generating lots and lots of entities because I'm cloning datasets, and LightSpeed is throwing this exception:
I just find the exception message to be vague. I have about 4 different entities used, and about 40 properties in total. It would be nice if the exception could tell me which entity is failing so it gives me something to go on, otherwise it's just a mystery! Is there anything I can do to narrow down this exception? Thanks, Soen |

I would look for an entity which has no properties and likely an identity column. I have updated that error message to actually tell you the type of the entity though to try and de-vague-ify this for the future :)

Thanks! Much appreciated. I've tracked it down to an entity that has, as you say, a single identity column and no other properties used as a through-table on a many-to-many mapping. Not sure why it's failing to instantiate correctly though. Time for some more investigation! Thanks Soen |
