Hi, where a SpeciesText has a 1-1 relationship to an ARKiveSpecies, with the ARKiveSpeciesID stored in the SpeciesText database table. This works fine in LS 2.2 but in LS 3.1 it throws an invalid cast exception (Unable to cast object of type 'SpeciesText' to type 'ARKiveSpecies'). I see that rearranging the query to the following works correctly: |

No this isnt the expected behavior, would it be possible for you to send through a small repro of this and we can have a look into what the issue is.

No problem. A little solution is attached that demonstrates the problem. When I run the TestApp2 program, I see the exception thrown first and then "OK" for the second approach. I tested against (and include) a simple MySQL 5.1 database. Thanks, Chris |
