Hi, We are looking at doing some cross-database queries with lightspeed. Both database are SQL server databases, on the same server. So for certain entities, the generated sql should contain dbname.schemaname.tablename, instead of just table name. A quick test indicates that the following seems to work: Use the "schema" property, supported by the lightspeed designer to actually contain databasename.schema. Do you see any risks with this? Is it considered "supported"? Thanks, John |

I dont think this should prove to be a problem - we are not doing anything with this value other than passing it through so it can be included as a naming component for the underlying database object. This sounds like a nice escape hatch so let me know if you find anything that doesnt work in practice and Ill try and get it fixed up.
