Hi, It is possible to have a keyboard shortcut to add entity object in the visual designer instead of using the toolbox? Is is also possible to add a shortcut to add entity object in the contextual menu when you right click in the surface of the visual designer? Shortcuts for other actions could be also very helpful... Thank you very much. |

I've implemented a right-click > Add New > Entity menu item and it will be in the next nightly build. (I did it as a cascading menu because I just know somebody is going to ask for sprocs and value objects at some point. But you may feel that the cascade is too inconvenient. Open to feedback here.) I haven't implemented a keyboard shortcut but you can create one yourself as discussed here: http://www.mindscapehq.com/blog/index.php/2011/05/22/keyboard-shortcuts-in-the-lightspeed-designer/ This may also help with some 'shortcuts for other actions' -- but if there are actions you want keyboard shortcuts for that aren't exposed as commands, let me know and I'll see what I can do. |

Hi, After some times using the designer, I found that there is no shortcut that can be configured from the Visual Studio>Options>Keyboard for add an entity property. When I create a lot of properties in an entity, it's tedious to right-click the entity and chose to add a property each time I want to add a new property. It is possible to add the "add entity property" item in the list of keyboard shortcut of the visual studio keyboard options? Thank you very much. |

Hmm.... Select the entity box and hit Insert. It is add a new Property to the entity, and You can define the name of that new property. Or I completly missunderstand Your problem....
