I keep getting messages similar to the following: Licensing conflict: xxxx is using the same license key as this machine This is because I have 2 concurrent network connections, and i disconnect one occassionally e.g. when I move my laptop from my stand up to my sit down desk. Whenever I do so, up pops the message. I am not overly enthusiastic about lightspeed reporting back to mindscape hq with my license, ip address etc. I find it rather invasive. 2ndly, I am not sure what effect it has other than the message. Do my programs stop compiling, do you suddenly limit me to only 8 tables, should I expect a midnight visit from JD and the boys armed with softball bats and a 900 page licensing agreement?

Hey Sean, There is nothing that is actually restricted, disabled etc when that message triggers - it just reports back that the event occured, similar to what occurs with Resharper we are checking for concurrent usage of the same license since we have previously seen people use single licenses for many developers. To be fair we havnt specifically catered for a situation such as yourself where you are active on two machines concurrently, so Ill see if we can suss out a workaround for you in the meantime. Also dont worry - we dont let JD out at night :)

I'm not usually on 2 machines, just one with 2 network connections. Actually sometimes I am on 2 machines but afaiaa that falls under the licensing agreement. There is still only one of me though despite various cloning attempts. Sean |
