I have some projects using with LightSpeed v 3.1. I want to continue using v 3.1 on some projects, and start using v 4.0 on new project on one PC. Can I do this ?
Thanks, hiroyuki. |

You cant have multiple installations of LightSpeed on the same machine as there can only be one copy of the designer installed due to registration with Visual Studio. You can however have multiple versions of the binaries (we certainly do!). To do this just install LightSpeed 3.11, copy the installed files off to one side and then install 4.0. You can reference the 3.11 binaries from the side folder and 4.0 from the primary folder. Using the 4.0 designer would be the most sensible and there are relatively few generated aspects that would conflict with 3.11 particularly if you are using a recent 3.11 nightly.

Yes it definitely can and that is certainly how we work ourselves here.
