I have a question and a suggestion for this: First - the question: Is there a way to restyle the connection adorner based on data contained within the connection point itself? The way the adorner is created seems to make it impossible to bind to properties within the source connection point's data within the Line style. Next - a suggestion regarding the adorner's starting point: Right now, when it's drawn, the starting point of the LineAdorner created is based off the click point. If you have multiple connection points close together, this can actually make it difficult to tell which you grabbed, especially if the click on the thumb is near an edge (effectively between two connection points). It seems like it'd be better if the LineAdorner's starting position was the center of the connection point itself - this would make it obvious you're connecting from a specific connection point. |

Hello In the next nightly build, the Line of the adorner will have the connection point as the DataContext. This will allow you to use converters or DataTriggers to change style properties. Here is a simple example that binds to the Edge property. You'll probably want to bind through the Data property.
In the next nightly build, you will also notice we have implemented your suggestion where the adorner line always starts from the center of the connection point. Jason Fauchelle |

Jason - Thanks for getting this in there. It looks like it'll really handle what we need, and allow us to do a lot more in terms of the styling. We'll let you know if we encounter any problems, but this sounds perfect. -Reed |
