As an FYI, there's a bug I've seen a few times in development with LightSpeed 5 that didn't exist in LightSpeed 4 regarding recreation of a data model. If you modify a data model and use a many to many association requiring that a composite key be set and not set that in code or designer prior to saving, the code file is deleted and never recreated. To resolve, you must delete the model entirely, and close Visual Studio. You can then recreate the model and the code behind file will be created IF you set the composite key before saving. |

I am not too sure what would have changed between 4 and 5 which might cause this. Are you able to send through a copy of your model where we can reproduce the steps you have mentioned and we can have a look into what might be causing this issue.

I haven't been able to test it again since I modified my model to avoid composite key use. I'll have to setup a test database and reproduce it again before I send a model over. |
