When setting the type of a parameter to an (nullable) enumerator, the C# generated code will set it's parameter to SqlTypes.Object, that in turn generates a strange error (sql_variant not supported). (SQL Server 2008R2) |

What parameter type are you expecting here? You may want to define this manually. We use object whenever we are dealing with an unknown database type leaving it to you to determine what you want to do with it :)

The parameter was an int32, but in the model we specified it as an user defined type (which was set to int32). But once we did that, the code that was generated (LS5) was an object. Even though the user defined type (enum) was clearly marked as database-type integer. |
