Hi all, we just purchased the commercial Professional Edition of LightSpeed. At the moment I should have a tiny question... The DB, I should have to work on, is a legacy Oracle DB, so, in the core schema, I can't change anything. In the DB there is a table (Holdings) whose primary key is composed by 4 fields: Date, PortfolioID, AssetID, ana ManagerCode. The Blog Articles by Ivan Towlson explained perfectly how to setup the Composite key for the Holdings Entity and how to setup a "child" entity that refers to the entire Composite key. But, in the DB, PortfolioID and AssetID of the Holdings table are foreign keys to, respectively, Portfolio table and Asset table. Question: do I have to do some special implementation in the Holdings, Portfolio and Asset tables? Thanks in advance for your help Francesco (CreF) |
