Hi there, it is not an issue right now but I want to be prepared for it. Is there an tool which shows me the difference and let me point choose which difference I want to move into my working copy? Sure there are enough text tools - but that requires that i have a deeper knowledge of the internal repesentation of the the model files. - Sörnt |

No, there is no visual diff tool for lsmodel files. (We'd like to write one one day as part of migrations support, but there are only so many hours in the day.) You will have to make do with the XML-based text merge. This is not usually too bad for lsmodel files (especially if the diff is relatively small), but it can be a pain with the diagram files: you may just need to accept the text diff tool's guess and then fix up any resulting layout glitches in the UI. |
